About SHARE

What’s in SHARE?

SHARE is a database of more than 3,000 HIV-related systematic reviews, updated with new articles quarterly. Systematic reviews synthesize individual studies addressing a specific research question (e.g., the effects of behavioural interventions to promote adherence to highly active antiretroviral therapy).
In addition to systematic reviews published in peer reviewed journals, SHARE also includes Rapid Response reviews produced by the Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN).

What goes into maintaining SHARE?

To ensure we identify the most recent HIV-relevant syntheses, we conduct searches and screen relevant systematic reviews from Medline and the Cochrane Library every three months. Two reviewers independently assess all records identified through the searches and assign key terms to each.
